CLASSIC EVERY DAY WEAR

These hijab styles have been tried and tested all over the world to form the basis of your hijab range. Depends on your personal style, these different looks can be tried out to give you a classic yet comfortable look.

THE CONVENTIONAL WRAP

              Conventional Hijab Style

The most famous and familiar style worldwide, the conventional wrap looks beautiful and sophisticated at the same time, and suits most face shapes, and can be tied with most types of cloth. It is easy to learn, and feels comfortable and light on the head.

 Instructions

  • Keeping one side longer than the other, drape the hijab over your head. It’s your choice which side you want to keep longer, based on your preference.
  • Now take the longer end of your hijab, and cross it over the shorter end, wrapping it over your head lightly. If you are looking for volume then you should tie it lightly, but if you want to go for a sleeker look, especially for thin faced people, you should wrap it tightly over your head.
  • Pin it on the side of your head with a hijab pin.

THE EFFORTLESS TUFT

       EFFORTLESS TUFT

This is an extremely simple and handy style. The fabric you use and how tightly you tie the hijab can determine a variety of looks, which go from being casual and relaxed to supple and elegant.

What’s the best part? When used with the accurate fabric, like lawn and viscose, you don’t require any pins to secure your scarf.

 Instructions

  • Wrap the hijab around your face, and keep one of the ends shorter than the other. Pin the two sides under your chin to secure the hijab.
  • Crossing the longer side over your head, give one fold, and then drape the rest of the cloth around your neck once, and let the end hang forward in front of your shoulder.
  • You can also skip crossing it over your head, and directly wrap it around your neck after securing under the chin. This can be done if the weather is hot, to make it more breathable and airy.

THE OCCASIONAL DAPPER

                       OCCASIONAL DAPPER

This unique style exudes complete elegance and grace. The free tassels in the front add further coverage, and make it look completely natural and beautiful.

 Instructions

  • Keeping one side longer than the other, drape the hijab over your head. It’s your choice which side you want to keep longer, based on your preference. Pin it under your chin.
  • Wrap the longer side around your neck and let it droop in front, just like the shorter end.
  • That is it! You are all set to go!Good hijab For

OVER-THE-SHOULDER FORMALS

These chic over the shoulder styles are well loved by many, and give a breezy and relaxed vibe. They look totally elegant and glamorous, and the best part about them is that you can wear them for a variety of events, be it casual dinners, business meetups, and formal functions. These hijab styles look best when styled with under caps, for a fuller and supple look.

TURKISH STYLE HIJAB WRAP

Turkish Style

This iconic hijab style can be seen everywhere when you go to visit Istanbul, and is a scene stealer, loved by many. One thing you need to be careful about when acquiring this style is that you need to use a square scarf, made of a slightly thicker fabric, like satin or thick cotton, to get that oh so famous point above your forehead.

 Instructions

  • Wear an under cap, that matches or contrasts with your hijab
  • Fold the square hijab into a triangle. You don’t need an accurate triangle, just a rough triangle.
  • Place the scarf over your head, and keep both ends even.
  • To get the point above your forehead, place your index finger beneath you scarf in the middle of your forehead, and then drape the scarf tightly around your face, while keeping the point intact. Remember the better you iron your scarf, the crisp the point will be.
  • Secure under your chin with a pin.
  • Taking the two ends, cross them over each other and wrap them around your neck, and tie them at the back of your neck, not too tightly, and not too loose.
  • Tuck the tied end under the tail of the scarf for a proper and neat look.

THE SIMPLE THROWBACK TASSLE

              Simple Throw back

Undoubtedly the simplest and minimalist hijab style, yet radiating intense modern and elegant vibes. This style looks perfect for crew necked shirts, and even looks great when styled with an abaya. What is best about it is that it only needs a single pin to stay in place.

 Instructions

  • Wrap the hijab around your face keeping both sides equal. Remember to pin it under your chin for it to stay put for longer periods of time.
  • Fling one of the tassels over your shoulder, and let it drape elegantly down your shoulder for a more comfortable look, or tightly stream it down your back for a more formal and prim look.
  • You can secure it with a pin over your shoulder for extra support, though this step isn’t necessary.
